Larissa Blake creates vibrant and energetic works inspired by the everyday, her love of travel and interiors.

After graduating from the University of Canberra she moved to Sydney where she worked in magazine publishing and various other creative industries before committing full-time to her art practice.

She has been a professional artist for 15 years and is a highly sought after teacher. In 2011 Larissa moved back to her hometown of Orange, NSW to set up her dream studio – a converted industrial shed on the slopes of Mt. Canobolas.

Her work references the domestic and feminine domains in a celebratory context, using an exuberant, joyful and uplifting colour palette.
