Helen McCullagh
Helen McCullagh

Helen McCullagh is best known for her bright, contemporary and aesthetically beautiful still life oil paintings. Helen paints daily from a converted dairy on her NSW hinterland farm that she shares with her husband and two dogs; Rosie and Tank.

Drawing her inspiration from both beautiful floral arrangements in her studio and images found their online media, Helen describes her artworks as a “dialogue between social realities with images chosen through social media feeds and reproduced in a new context to distort the distinctions of time and place.”

Helen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southern Cross University. She is a professional artist who shares her knowledge and techniques as an art educator and has previously worked at the Gallery of Modern Art.
