Glen Preece has been painting since he was 10 years old and has had many successful exhibitions in Australia and UK. Glen's subjects are mainly from his everyday life in the Southern Highlands of NSW Australia and his travels in and out of Australia.
His love of of the Expressionist and Fauvist movements and the great Impressionist painters of France and Australia, have provided inspiration for Glen over the years.
Glen has exhibited in one-man and joint exhibitions since 1979. Galleries that have exhibited his work in Australia include the Artamon Gallery – Sydney, Von Bertouch Galleries – Newcastle, Melbourne Fine Art Gallery. Internationally, Glen has had exhibitions at Elyette Peyre Gallery in Paris, and currently exhibits at Panter and Hall Gallery in London.
He won the John Copes award in 1999 and is represented in many private collections in USA, UK, Europe China and Australia

1975 Studied Fine Art at Seaforth Technical College
1978 Studied Drawing at Julian Ashton Art School, The Rocks, Sydney
1979 Began painting full time
